The new Leach Science Center houses our 900 sqft basic science research lab.

This lab explores the basic science portion of our research on the physics of cognition.

The lab includes a BSL2 capable cell culture room, chemical preparation space, and two microscope rooms.

Pharmacy Research Building Laboratory

Our lab shares space with Dr. Miranda Reed’s lab in the Pharmacy Research Building. We operate a custom built live cell fluorescence imaging microscope located in a shared cell culture room.

This research space explores the medical science portion of our research on the functional properties of presynapses in Alzheimer’s and other related hyper-excitable neuronal diseases.
